
Born into a family of craftsmen, Victor Rigaudy grew up in St. Junien in the Haute Vienne region, the historic capital of French glove making. His wife Berthe came from a family of master glove makers. Together, they undertook the modernization of the factory, and founded the Rigaudy house in 1893.

1949 Victor’s grandson, Raymond, presided over the family business and the Perrin house was born. Raymond positioned the house at the forefront of avant-garde techniques to deliver the finest products in the field of leather craftsmanship. Raymond and his wife Simone produced two sons, Henri and Michel.

As a graduate of the Ecole Française de Tannerie de Lyon, Henri explored new tanning technologies with a focus on research and development. Buoyed by its subcontracting business with haute-couture house the company began specializing in tanning skins incorporating new and innovative techniques under Henri's direction.

2006 An experienced entrepreneur in the software industry, Michel returned to his roots to oversee the launch of the family business on an international level, recreating an ambiance of expertise and tradition established over several generations.
2008 Michel and his American-born wife Sally began collaborating as a team in 2008, combining French tradition and savoir-faire with a unique and discerning feminine eye., proudly offering elegance a la française in a contemporary context.
